Tricia Roos shares her story of loss after finding out that her daughter had Trisomy 18 and how she coped with grief after infant loss.
In episode #085, Tricia shares her personal story of loss. In 2014, she was advised to have an abortion because her daughter had Trisomy 18. She and her husband chose to keep the pregnancy, but she was not expected to have a live birth because the baby had a two-chamber heart. Tricia’s daughter was born alive, and passed away after 6 days.
We discuss the lessons learned from loss, and Tricia shares how she coped with her grief and emotions through this whole journey. Tricia recently published a book on Amazon, titled When Wishes Change.
