Thank you for this episode. I am in the midst of waiting and I needed to hear this story. Practically the first thing the midwife said to me after telling us there was no heartbeat was that she wanted me to take cytotec next week. I’m definitely not comfortable taking the at home with no direct support. I had my first mmc at home just 5 months ago which began on its own, and that was hard enough and I ended up going to the ER when I began to bleed heavily. They really didn’t do much in the ER, and it was a terrible experience. If cytotec increased bleeding I don’t see how being home doing this is safe. I love that you were given the appropriate care and monitoring! Your experience sounds very much preferable.
